Banksia ilicifolia Holly Banksia trees can grow up to 10 meters however they are rarely ever this straight or this wide. 

This table total width was 800mm wide it was cut in half and reversed so that seating positions are against smooth and straight edges while retaining the beautiful live edge on the inside of the table, with medullary ray veins extending throughout the slab. 

Routed out to fit a 12mm piece of toughened glass 400mm wide giving a total width of just under 900mm x 1900mm total “special clear epoxy” is used to fill the knots of the slab. 

With a heavy pour gloss finish that is scratch and chemical resistant. 

The table sits upon two powder coated steel legs made from rectangular steel tubing and a 3mm steel plate.
